management company for 7 months. During that time
I had repeated phone calls from my creditors stating that
they were not getting their payments in time. I made the
payments to that company on time. Why were they not paying
my bills? My balance actually went up from late fees and
other charges. After talking with one of my creditors,

a few phone calls to one of their counselors, they helped
me straighten out the mess that was previously made, and

Its nice to know that I am dealing with a stand up
company that seemed to be looking out for my interests.
I was just about to obtain a debt consolidation loan from
a local lender here in Georgia. After being recommended
to The Credit Counseling Foundation by my in-laws, I decided
to give them a call first. I talked to a counselor and
he explained the benefits of their Reduced Interest Rate
Program. They were able to get me a lower interest rate
and a much lower monthly payment without putting up the
