The Credit Counseling Foundation Featured
on TV Show
Recently TCCF was invited by a local Ft. Meyers, Fl. television
station to appear on one of their shows to answer questions
regarding credit counseling, debt consolidation and debt management.
The show, "Lee Pitts Live," is hosted and produced
by Mr. Lee Pitts, who, as we found out, is very highly
regarded among his peers and viewers. Therefore, we
naturally were quite flattered and honored to be offered this
opportunity since Mr. Pitts' show also has received substantial
notoriety and acclaim over the years.
In its over thirteen years of being on the air, the show has been
bestowed with the prestigious NAACP Image Award and has been inducted
into the Lee County Black History Museum as the first minority
hosted show in the region. Although the show is designed to
bring to light matters which affect the minority community, credit
problems, as we all know, transcend ethnicity, and would therefore
be of interest to all prospective viewers.
Adhering to our mission as a non-profit company to "give
back to the community", we jumped at the opportunity to better
inform southwestern Florida's citizenry of the services we
offer and to clarify how and who this program is designed to
help. Accordingly, in mid-August we sent two TCCF representatives
to tape a show for September airing. A number of topics and questions
were addressed, but since this only scratched the surface of the
information available, we have agreed to tape three more spots,
one in each of the next three quarters to further address and expand
on these vital issues. In addition, twice during each of Mr.
Pitts’ weekly shows our commercial is aired, providing
viewers with additional information about TCCF while affording
them a conduit to contact us either via telephone or internet
should they require more information or need to avail themselves
of our counseling service and debt management program. We urge all
of our clients in the Naples-to-Sarasota Florida area to tune into
Mr. Pitts’ show which airs every Saturday at 11:30 AM and
again at 8:00 PM on channel WEVU (UPN).
Based on the positive feedback we have received from just this one
airing, we would like to extend an invitation to any TCCF
clients or their friends and families in the southern Florida
area who have an association with any local community or religious
group, television or radio station, or print media to contact
us if they would be interested in having one of our representatives
attend one of their functions to discuss the pratfalls arising out of
incurring too much high interest credit and the specific
solutions we offer.
